Citizens and Officials Show Support for Prabowo Subianto with Flower Arrangements after Surgery at RSPPN Bintaro

Jakarta — The National Defense Central Hospital Panglima Besar Soedirman (RSPPN) was inundated with flower arrangements filled with support, prayers, and encouragement for the President-elect of the 2024-2029 period, Prabowo Subianto, on Monday afternoon (1/7).

A total of 25 flower arrangements continuously arrived at RSPPN following Prabowo’s surgery for leg injury recovery.

The arrangements included those from government officials such as the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, the Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan, Maruarar Sirait, and the Chief of the Indonesian National Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

“Our prayers are always with you, President-elect Mr. Prabowo Subianto. Stay strong and spirited, Sir,” read a note from Zulkifli Hasan, Chairman of PAN.

Not only from officials, but there were also sweet messages and warm prayers from community groups who adore Prabowo, such as local mothers, football fans, and residents around Bintaro.

“Get well soon, Mr. Prabowo! Greetings from my mom!” said a flower arrangement from the Prabowo Forever Fans.

“Mr. Prabowo, recover soon, we can’t wait for Indonesia to qualify for the World Cup,” wrote a flower arrangement from the community of Football Fans Love Prabowo.

There were also some sweet and humorous messages sent by netizens from various communities, including one from the Secret Admirers of Prabowo.

“Get well soon, Mr. Prabowo, I’ll order some fried rice for you,” they wrote.

“Come on, Mr. Prabowo, get well soon, I promise not to stay up late anymore,” said a message from the community of Anak Prabowo Nusantara.

A week ago, Prabowo stayed at RSPPN for intensive treatment after successfully undergoing surgery and recovery for a leg injury he has had since the 1980s due to parachuting accidents while still serving in the Indonesian National Armed Forces.

Now, Prabowo has returned to his usual activities. This evening, Monday, Prabowo was seen attending the 78th Bhayangkara Day celebration held at the National Monument (Monas), opened by President Joko Widodo.
