President-elect Prabowo Subianto of Indonesia has expressed concerns about the fragile state of global affairs, pointing to the unwise actions of certain world leaders as a key factor contributing to the growing tension. Speaking at the Forum Sinergitas Legislator PKB in Jakarta, Prabowo emphasized the importance of wisdom, tolerance, and mutual respect in maintaining global harmony.
He criticized nations that seek to impose their will on others, noting that such actions undermine the values of mutual respect and cooperation. Prabowo specifically highlighted the ongoing tensions between Israel and Iran, condemning the violence and loss of innocent lives in the conflict.
Despite the global instability, Prabowo praised Indonesia for its peaceful environment, attributing it to the open dialogue and cooperation among different elements within the country, including political parties. He expressed confidence that despite differences, parties like PKB would come together to work towards nation-building.
