Prabowo Dapat Banjir Pujian dari Program Muslimat NU

President Prabowo Subianto received a warm welcome from Khofifah Indar Parawansa, the Chairperson of the Central Leadership of Muslimat Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), and other board members during a meeting at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday, 14 January 2025. Khofifah discussed various successful programmes and services implemented by Muslimat NU, which have had a direct impact on the grassroots community. President Prabowo commended the initiatives of Muslimat NU and highlighted the importance of their extensive network in ensuring the effectiveness of these programmes. Khofifah introduced two new initiatives, Mustika Mesem (Muslimat Combating Extreme Poverty) and Mustika Darling (Muslimat Environmental Awareness), set to be launched at the upcoming XVIII Congress of Muslimat NU. Mustika Mesem focuses on addressing extreme poverty through activities like recitation, while Mustika Darling aims to promote environmental awareness through waste management efforts by Muslimat NU cadres. These programs were emphasized for their role in tackling crucial issues such as poverty and environmental sustainability. Discussions also covered the preparations for the XVIII Muslimat NU Congress scheduled from 11-16 February 2025 in Surabaya, expected to be attended by delegates from across Indonesia to strengthen the organization’s nationwide presence. The meeting concluded with an invitation extended to President Prabowo to attend the opening ceremony of the Congress on 12 February.
