President Prabowo Subianto from Indonesia received a warm welcome from Indonesian citizens upon his arrival in New Delhi, India. One of the excited individuals waiting to greet Prabowo was Nadine Ardiani Chairunisa, an Indonesian student studying Marketing Communication at Amity University. Despite facing some delays, Nadine, along with fellow student Demas Fadel Anggara, described the experience as both exciting and nerve-wracking. Other Indonesians present, such as Rajendra, Marvell, and Adyatama, expressed their gratitude for Prabowo’s personal gesture of shaking hands with them upon arrival, sharing their hopes for a successful working visit in India and a brighter future under Prabowo’s leadership.
Prabowo’s visit to India not only signifies a new chapter in bilateral relations but also commemorates the 75th anniversary of diplomatic cooperation between Indonesia and India. Before departing from Jakarta, Prabowo expressed pride in being invited as the chief guest at India’s 76th Republic Day celebrations, considering it a great honor for Indonesia. He emphasized the participation of Indonesian TNI troops in the event, highlighting the strong ties between the two nations. The visit includes scheduled meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss enhancing cooperation on various strategic issues.
