People’s School: A Beacon of Hope for Andra’s Fatherless Journey

A single mother’s son, Andra Farizki Ramdhani, has not let the absence of a father hinder his progress. Raised by his hardworking mother, Andra, a 10th-grade student at the People’s High School in South Jakarta, has found renewed hope through the People’s School initiative initiated by President Prabowo Subianto. Despite financial challenges, Andra is grateful for the opportunity to receive a quality education.

The People’s School, where Andra studies, is a boarding school that has provided him with a structured daily routine that includes morning prayers, exercise, classes, and evening check-ins with his family. Although adjusting to dorm life was initially challenging, Andra has found comfort in the camaraderie of his classmates, as they navigate the shared experiences of school life together.

The facilities at SRMA 10 have exceeded Andra’s expectations, providing him with a conducive learning environment that keeps him engaged and focused. He is actively involved in extracurricular activities such as judo, the student flag-raising team, and the youth Red Cross. Despite not having a father figure, Andra remains determined to pursue his dreams of becoming a judo athlete and attending the Defense University.

Andra’s ambition is not just personal but also rooted in his desire to honor his mother’s unwavering support. Grateful for the opportunity to study without financial burden at the People’s School, he sees it as a beacon of hope for underprivileged children who are eager to learn. Through his hard work, determination, and his mother’s prayers, Andra believes that his dreams are well within reach. By embracing the opportunities provided by the People’s School, Andra is paving the way for a brighter future filled with possibilities.
