PHTC for Families: The Key to Success with Family Participation

The Quick Impact Programs (PHTC) are a testament to the government’s commitment to its people, as stated by Chacha Annisa, Senior Expert Staff at the Presidential Communication Office (PCO). During the “Double Check” discussion on the importance of family development in achieving Indonesia Emas 2045, Chacha highlighted the significance of family involvement in the success of various government initiatives rolled out since January. These programs, such as Free Nutritious Meals (MBG), Free Health Checks (CKG), School-based initiatives, and Digital Learning, are all aimed at benefiting families, but active participation from families is crucial for their smooth implementation.

Chacha shared her experience of monitoring School-Based Free Health Checks and emphasized the importance of educating parents to ensure the children are present during health checks. She also mentioned how initiatives like the CKG program have encouraged healthy competition among students, leading to positive lifestyle changes.

Under the PHTC initiative, significant achievements have been made, including the establishment of Nutrition Service Units, reaching millions of beneficiaries, creating jobs, conducting health checks for millions of people, and forming cooperatives in villages. Chacha highlighted that these numbers reflect the government’s dedication and its tangible impact on people’s lives.

The PHTC programs demonstrate the government’s commitment to improving the welfare of its citizens, and the active participation of families is key to the success of these initiatives.
