With ongoing conflicts in various parts of the world, Prabowo underlined the need to defend Indonesia’s territory, sovereignty, and resources. Despite Indonesia’s non-alignment with any geopolitical bloc, he emphasized the necessity of a robust defense to protect the nation. During the ceremony, Prabowo appointed new military commanders and bestowed honors upon deserving recipients for their dedication and integrity.
The event also marked the inauguration of several new TNI units, demonstrating Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening its defense capabilities. The troop review showcased over 27,000 personnel and various defense assets, highlighting the country’s readiness to address emerging threats.
